Frequently Asked Questionsπ
π―Quick answers before you call. Comprehensive information about TMH Group.
Employers of any size that have full-time, part-time, seasonal, variable-hour, or 1099 workers, and organizations that want to complement existing benefits or extend ACA Marketplace access support through licensed professionals to additional worker classes.
Yes. Many employers keep their group plan for full-timers and use TMH Group for other classes of workers. Each program is structured to remain separate. Employers should confirm ERISA and tax implications with their legal and tax advisors.
Workers including full-time, part-time, seasonal, variable-hour, and 1099 contractors pay their ACA Marketplace premiums directly to the carrier. TMH Group and its partners do not handle worker premium payments, do not collect premiums, and do not reimburse premiums.
Post tax treatment helps preserve workers including full-time, part-time, seasonal, variable-hour, and 1099 contractors' potential ACA subsidy eligibility and avoids pre tax HRA or cafeteria plan administration. TMH Group does not provide tax, legal, or insurance advice; employers should consult their advisors.
TMH Group is structured as a non insurance workforce support program. It does not provide insurance, reimburse medical expenses, administer group health plans, or provide insurance advice, and it operates on a post tax basis. Employers should review the structure with their legal, tax, and ERISA advisors to determine how it applies to their specific situation.
Licensed professionals working with TMH Group manage all ACA Marketplace interactions, renewals, and support. TMH Group itself does not service insurance policies or provide plan recommendations.
